- Job Summary and Qualifications
- As an Anesthesia Technician, you will work closely with the anesthesia team and surgical staff to help every procedure go safely and smoothly. You will play a key role in keeping equipment ready, supporting patient care, and helping create a safe, comfortable environment throughout the surgical journey.
- Your responsibilities will include:
- + •Preparing and organizing anesthesia equipment and supplies by reviewing surgery schedules and planning for what the team will need•+ •Setting up, transporting, and maintaining anesthesia carts and equipment to keep all supplies clean and ready for safe use•+ •Helping patients by assisting with transfers, positioning, preparation, and applying non-invasive monitoring devices•+ •Acting quickly and confidently if an emergency happens•+ •Keeping the environment clean and safe by following infection prevention and safety practices•+ •Speaking openly with patients, families, and your team, always protecting patient privacy and advocating for patient rights•What qualifications you will need:•Experience•+ •One year experience as an Anesthesia Technician-required•Education•+ •High School Graduate / GED•Licenses and Certifications•+ •Basic Cardiac Life Support as per St.
