Job Description

Job Summary Under the supervision of licensed personnel, provides assistance to the Anesthesiologist during the preoperative period according to the Shannon Medical Center Standards of Care, policies and procedures. The Anesthesia Aide has both team member and patient care responsibilities that require judgments, accountability and follow through. Within these responsibilities, accepting delegation, communicating effectively and confidentiality, recording accurate information, demonstrating flexibility and maintaining a safe environment by completing unit related services are critical to issues in this position. Qualifications Education Required High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent

Required Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification Must obtain within ninety (90) days of start date
