Traveler Pay Rate:

$1,400.00 Weekly pay is based on 40 hours per week. Our client is seeking a skilled and experienced Anesthesia Technician to support anesthesia providers and surgical teams in a fast-paced operating room environment. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned traveler who can quickly adapt to the facility's workflows and provide safe, efficient support across a variety of surgical procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and set up anesthesia equipment and operating rooms for scheduled procedures Perform anesthesia machine checks, troubleshooting, and equipment preparation Prepare breathing circuits, airway equipment, laryngoscope blades, ET tubes, and GlideScope equipment Set up IV pumps, pressure lines, arterial lines, and central/vascular access equipment Assist anesthesia providers during routine and critical situations Support airway management and emergency intubation procedures Assist with intubation and prepare appropriate airway equipment Perform IV insertion and blood collection via arterial or venous access as permitted Assist with medication preparation, IV solutions, tubing, and pumps Support patient positioning and transportation to and from the operating room Prepare rooms for first cases and complete room turnover between procedures Maintain aseptic technique and follow infection-control procedures Handle and label specimens appropriately Follow universal protocol and surgical time-out procedures Assist with sterilization, disinfection, and instrument processing Follow radiation, laser, electrical, fire, and operating room safety standards Assist with anesthesia-related equipment during a wide range of surgical cases

Qualifications:

Minimum 2 years of Anesthesia Technician experience

• Required Previous travel experience
• Required BLS Certification
• Required Strong experience in Operating Room and Ambulatory OR settings Knowledge of anesthesia machines, airway equipment, IV pumps, monitors, and related equipment Experience assisting anesthesia providers in surgical settings Knowledge of aseptic technique, sterilization, infection control, and patient safety Experience with multiple surgical specialties preferred, including General, Cardiac, Gyn, Neuro/Spine, Ortho, Pediatrics, Robotics, Thoracic, and Vascular Ability to work independently and adapt quickly to a new clinical environment Strong communication and teamwork skills Reach out to our dedicated Recruiter Phoebe Allen at phoebe@raisso.
