An Art Therapist directs and coordinates recreational activities for people with disabilities or illness to help them improve their emotional and physical well-being, improve motor skills and increase confidence. Leads activities involving art, crafts, and similar activities. Assists patients with disabilities to learn to use public resources such as parks and public transportation, and integrate in the community. Works with people of all ages, in schools, nursing homes, clinics and other healthcare facilities, or in parks and recreation departments.

We specialize in treating substance use, trauma, and co-occurring mental health conditions through an integrative lens—honoring the body, mind, and spirit. Our unique approach combines evidence-based practices with experiential therapies such as Breathwork, Reiki, Yoga, Craniosacral therapy, Sound Healing, and more. Key Responsibilities Provide group and individual therapy sessions using trauma-informed and evidence-based practices Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, including psychoeducation, process groups, and experiential healing groups Collaborate in holistic treatment planning, integrating clients' emotional, spiritual, and physical needs Maintain timely, accurate documentation using DAP or SOAP format in
KIPU/EHR
system Participate in weekly treatment team meetings, clinical consultation, and interdisciplinary collaboration Support clients through trauma processing, emotional regulation, and building self-compassion Provide group or individual sessions in holistic therapy such as Yoga, Reiki, Breathwork, Craniosacral Therapy, TRE, Sound Healing, Mindfulness, Meditation or similar modality.
