Gratitude Lodge Gratitude Lodge is a Detoxification Facility located in beautiful Newport Beach , offering Detox and Residential levels of care. We focus on substance abuse and co-occurring psychiatric disorders , providing a supportive and therapeutic environment for recovery. We offer gender-specific and co-ed group therapy , individual therapy , and case management - all within a collaborative and compassionate clinical team. We are currently seeking a motivated, passionate Therapist to join our growing team! Applicants should have a strong understanding of the 12-Steps , family systems , and a psychodynamic approach to therapy , as well as solid knowledge of CBT and DBT skills. Familiarity with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) documentation is also required. Clinical supervision is provided if needed. Job DutiesResponsibilities Provide individual counseling and facilitate educational and counseling groups (1-2 groups per week with a caseload of 6). Promptly chart all activities in the client's records. Assess clients' strengths, needs, abilities, and preferences ; formulate diagnostic impressions based on current DSM criteria; perform biopsychosocial assessments ; and, in collaboration with the client, develop a workable treatment plan . Investigate case situations and present relevant family and social background information to the clinical team to support diagnosis and treatment. Select appropriate therapeutic approaches (directive, non-directive, supportive) and determine frequency, intensity, and duration of therapy. Work cooperatively with community resources and referral sources to coordinate client services. Provide direct behavioral health services , including mental health and substance abuse treatment (e.g., psychosocial assessments, consultation, individual/group/family therapy, in-service training, and community education). Meet or exceed the minimum annual direct service standard . Provide crisis intervention services when authorized and necessary. Maintain appropriate state licensure/registration/certification for scope of practice. Carry out other responsibilities as delegated.

ACSW / AMFT / APCC

(Required; active BBS Associate number)

Experience:

1 year in Addiction Treatment (Preferred)
