An Art Therapist directs and coordinates recreational activities for people with disabilities or illness to help them improve their emotional and physical well-being, improve motor skills and increase confidence. Leads activities involving art, crafts, and similar activities. Assists patients with disabilities to learn to use public resources such as parks and public transportation, and integrate in the community. Works with people of all ages, in schools, nursing homes, clinics and other healthcare facilities, or in parks and recreation departments.

Job Description
Clinical Services Therapist- Adult Special Populations - This therapist is responsible for providing mental health and/or SUD treatment services for adult populations (individual, family, and group therapy) within the scope of their license; and providing consultation services to individuals and organizations in the community. Requires a minimum of a master's degree from an accredited institution which provides graduate training in social work, psychology, or marriage and family therapy. Potential applicants must be licensed or immediately eligible for licensure in Kansas. Applicants with additional addictions licensure (LAC, LCAC) are encouraged to apply, but this is not a requirement. Starting wage is $73,000/year. Applicants willing to provide dual-diagnosis services could receive an additional increase of $2,000. Sign-on bonus available.
