An Art Therapist directs and coordinates recreational activities for people with disabilities or illness to help them improve their emotional and physical well-being, improve motor skills and increase confidence. Leads activities involving art, crafts, and similar activities. Assists patients with disabilities to learn to use public resources such as parks and public transportation, and integrate in the community. Works with people of all ages, in schools, nursing homes, clinics and other healthcare facilities, or in parks and recreation departments.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:
The Clinical Therapist is a member of the multidisciplinary treatment team who will be a part of our Outpatient Team.
Major job functions include:
obtaining psycho-social assessments; conducting family/group therapy on assigned cases; complete documentation per hospital policy and procedure; case coordination; coordinate discharge planning; assist in developing and maintaining community resource information; performs marketing functions as assigned; assists in the maintenance of the program environment in compliance with policies of safety and security; ensures good clinical judgment to ensure optimum patient care; participate in continuing education activities.
Qualifications Education:
Required:
Master's Degree from an accredited school in the
Behavioral Sciences Licensure/ Certification:
Must be licensed or under supervision in state of Kentucky (CSW/ LCSW, CADC/ LCADC, MFTA, LMFT, LPCA, LPCC, LPA, LPP) Supervision may be reimbursed or provided on site.
Experience:
Preferred:
