An Art Therapist directs and coordinates recreational activities for people with disabilities or illness to help them improve their emotional and physical well-being, improve motor skills and increase confidence. Leads activities involving art, crafts, and similar activities. Assists patients with disabilities to learn to use public resources such as parks and public transportation, and integrate in the community. Works with people of all ages, in schools, nursing homes, clinics and other healthcare facilities, or in parks and recreation departments.

Job Description

Overview The Morton Center is seeking a fully independently licensed therapist (LCSW, LMFT, LPCC, or LCADC) to join our team in Louisville, KY. This full-time, in-person role provides the opportunity to make a direct impact in the lives of individuals and families by delivering compassionate, evidence-based care for substance use and mental health concerns. As a Clinical Therapist at The Morton Center, you will: Provide individual, family, and group therapy in an outpatient setting Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to client needs Support recovery through counseling, psychoeducation, and family engagement Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the highest quality of care Document services in compliance with clinical and billing standards What We Offer Competitive pay aligned with licensure and experience 100% employer-paid health, dental, vision, and disability insurance Generous PTO package (160-240 hours) plus 9 paid holidays CEU stipend and 40 hours paid CEU time for clinical staff 401(k) match after one year of employment Supportive, mission-driven work environment focused on recovery and family healing 4 day work week - One 9 pm for IOP, One night 7 pm to support clients needing evening sessions. Requirements Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage & Family Therapy, or related field Independent clinical license in Kentucky (LCSW, LMFT, LPCC, or LCADC) (six months +) Two years experience as Therapist with substance use disorder treatment strongly preferred Louisville, KY (in-person position)
