This contract, W2 hourly role is designed for a qualified professional ready to make a difference through creative therapy on an itinerant basis at a location in Frederick. With a manageable caseload and a flexible 20-hour workweek during standard school hours (8 am4 pm), you'll collaborate with school professionals and help 15 students develop healthy coping skills. What you'll need to succeed: Current, valid licensure as an Art Therapist in the state Experience providing therapeutic services in schools or working with children and adolescents Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage effectively with students, staff, and families Ability to work independently and manage a 15-student caseload across multiple sites Adaptability and creative problem-solving skills Key responsibilities include: Conduct individual and group art therapy sessions for students referred to your caseload Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and other school team members to support student goals Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to individual student needs Track progress and maintain thorough session documentation in compliance with school policy Foster a positive, encouraging environment for students to express themselves artistically Communicate regularly with families as appropriate regarding student support This position offers compensation of $43-47 per hour, providing a competitive rate for your expertise and dedication.
