You'll provide individual and family counseling to children and adolescents navigating anxiety, emotional dysregulation, ADHD-related challenges, and social-emotional skill gaps. You'll work alongside our OT and pediatric therapy team in a collaborative, child-centered model where therapy is integrated across disciplines.
Daily responsibilities include:
Conducting individual and family counseling sessions using evidence-based approaches Collaborating with our OT teams Supporting parents with strategies for managing emotional regulation and behavior at home Facilitating group therapy and social skills work when appropriate Maintaining accurate clinical documentation and progress notes Participating in interdisciplinary team discussions to ensure coordinated care
Qualifications Required:
Current licensure in NJ as LCSW, Licensed Psychologist, or Licensed Art Therapist or Professional Counselor Experience providing counseling to children and families Ability to work collaboratively in a team-based, integrated care model Strong communication skills with children, families, and clinical partners
Preferred:
Experience with anxiety, emotional dysregulation, and neurodevelopmental conditions (ADHD, autism) Familiarity with sensory processing and how it impacts behavior and emotion Group facilitation and social skills training experience
