An Art Therapist directs and coordinates recreational activities for people with disabilities or illness to help them improve their emotional and physical well-being, improve motor skills and increase confidence. Leads activities involving art, crafts, and similar activities. Assists patients with disabilities to learn to use public resources such as parks and public transportation, and integrate in the community. Works with people of all ages, in schools, nursing homes, clinics and other healthcare facilities, or in parks and recreation departments.

  • 9 p We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Group Facilitator to join our team.
As a Group Facilitator, you will be responsible for leading therapeutic groups and providing support to individuals with various mental health conditions. Your role will involve crisis management, diagnostic evaluation, behavior management, and patient assessment. Duties:
  • Lead therapeutic groups and facilitate discussions
  • Conduct diagnostic evaluations to assess individuals' mental health needs
  • Develop and implement treatment plans based on individualized assessments
  • Provide crisis intervention and manage challenging behaviors
  • Utilize evidence-based practices such as motivational interviewing, art therapy, and dance therapy
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of client progress
Requirements:
  • LAC, LPC, LSW, LCSW, LCADC, CADC
  • Knowledge with inputting clinical notes in EMR systems.
  • Strong crisis management skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
