Leads activities involving art, crafts, and similar activities. Works with people of all ages, in schools, nursing homes, clinics and other healthcare facilities, or in parks and recreation departments.

Job Description

Licensed Creative Arts Therapist (LCAT) JCCA is seeking dedicated Licensed Creative Arts Therapist to provide art therapy services to youth with serious emotional disturbances (SED) and intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). This Fee-For-Service opportunity is ideal for creative clinicians who wants to make a meaningful difference through art, healing, and emotional expression. Responsibilities Lead engaging group and individual art therapy sessions for youth in a residential treatment setting. Develop treatment plans, therapeutic goals, and maintain accurate clinical documentation in the EHR. Use art-based strategies to support youth during crisis promote emotional regulation. Collaborate with clinical and recreation teams. Participate in clinical supervision. Qualifications Current LCAT license Master's degree in Art Therapy At least one year of experience working with children or youth Strong communication, documentation, and crisis-management skills Schedule Flexible, varied schedule with availability needed evenings, weekends and holidays .
