An Art Therapist directs and coordinates recreational activities for people with disabilities or illness to help them improve their emotional and physical well-being, improve motor skills and increase confidence. Leads activities involving art, crafts, and similar activities. Assists patients with disabilities to learn to use public resources such as parks and public transportation, and integrate in the community. Works with people of all ages, in schools, nursing homes, clinics and other healthcare facilities, or in parks and recreation departments.

Youth Services Clinical Therapist

$65,000-70,000/year + $5,000 Sign on Bonus Full Time | Day Shift working Monday - Friday Genacross Lutheran Services is a faith-based nonprofit organization with over 160 years of service, providing compassionate care and support to individuals, families, and communities. Our team members bring our mission to life every day, serving with empathy, excellence, and innovation. We are seeking a Youth Services Clinical Therapist to provide trauma-informed mental health services to youth in residential and group homes.
What You'll Do:
Provide individual, group, and day treatment mental health services to youth within your assigned caseload Utilize trauma-informed, evidence-based practices in alignment with SAMHSA principles Complete timely and accurate clinical documentation in compliance with Ohio Medicaid and federal billing standards to meet productivity standards Participate in case reviews, staff meetings, and clinical supervision as requested Provide interim progress reports and clinical assessments to support treatment planning Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support client transitions and continuity of care Deliver CPST services and complete diagnostic assessments as needed Maintain professional licensure and complete all required training courses per Genacross and OMHAS standards
Youth Services Clinical Therapist Qualifications:
Active LSW, LPC, LISW or LPCC license in the State of Ohio Master's level therapist Strong clinical judgment, rapport-building skills, and therapeutic presence Ability to implement short-term cognitive and trauma-informed interventions Proficiency in clinical documentation and treatment planning Demonstrated ability to improve client functioning within an assigned caseload Completion of a Trauma-Focused, Evidence-Based Training program approved or recognized by the organization Why Join Genacross?
