An Art Therapist directs and coordinates recreational activities for people with disabilities or illness to help them improve their emotional and physical well-being, improve motor skills and increase confidence. Leads activities involving art, crafts, and similar activities. Assists patients with disabilities to learn to use public resources such as parks and public transportation, and integrate in the community. Works with people of all ages, in schools, nursing homes, clinics and other healthcare facilities, or in parks and recreation departments.

Beacon Point Recovery Center:
Position Title:
Primary Therapist Come join a rapidly expanding, leading national substance abuse & mental health organization who is currently seeking a Primary Therapist for their Drug and Alcohol Detox in Philadelphia! Primary Therapist Duties/Responsibilities:
New patient intake and orientation Conducts initial assessment of patient problems and needs and reports to clinical team to initiate treatment planning Conducts individual sessions Facilitates groups with patients Addresses patient's concerns and helps eliminate possibility of AMA Provides Case Management Documentation in patient medical record
Primary Therapist Requirements:
Associate's degree or above in Human Services or related Minimum 1 year of clinical experience preferred, preferably in a detox and/or residential setting Experience conducting group sessions Flexibility and willingness are great attributes
Primary Therapist Schedule:
Full Time 8:00am-5:30pm Must be open to one weekend shift per week
Counselor Compensation:
Hourly rate competitive with experience and location Full time employees may be eligible for the following:
