You will deliver individualized and group therapy sessions, utilizing art, music, dance, and recreational therapies to foster healing, self-expression, and personal growth. Duties Conduct comprehensive assessments to develop personalized treatment plans incorporating expressive arts therapies such as art therapy, music therapy, dance therapy, and recreational therapy. Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions focused on mental health counseling, behavioral health, autism spectrum disorders, developmental disabilities, dementia care, and addiction counseling. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care plans, ensuring alignment with medical documentation standards and HIPAA compliance. Maintain accurate and detailed medical records and documentation of therapy progress using CPT coding when applicable. Deliver specialized interventions for diverse populations including pediatrics, hospice care patients, individuals with disabilities, and those experiencing dementia or behavioral health challenges. Educate patients and families on therapeutic techniques and coping strategies to support ongoing mental health and wellness. Ensure all therapeutic activities adhere to best practices in outpatient settings and comply with healthcare regulations. Experience Proven experience in behavioral therapy, mental health counseling, or related fields within outpatient or clinical environments. Demonstrated expertise working with children, individuals with developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, or dementia. Hands-on experience delivering individual and group therapy utilizing expressive arts modalities such as art therapy, music therapy, dance therapy, or recreational therapy. Familiarity with medical documentation procedures including CPT coding and maintaining HIPAA-compliant records. Knowledge of behavioral health treatment approaches for addiction counseling and hospice care settings preferred. Strong understanding of working with diverse populations including pediatrics and patients with disabilities or complex medical needs.
