Job Description

Job Overview We are hiring a skilled CNC Turning Setup / Operator to join our manufacturing team in Milwaukee, WI. This is a full-time, on-site role responsible for setting up, operating, and optimizing CNC turning machines while maintaining strict quality and safety standards. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in CNC machining, the ability to troubleshoot and optimize programs, and a stable work history. Key Responsibilities Set up and operate CNC turning machines efficiently Program, modify, and optimize CNC machine operations Machine components to precise specifications and tolerances Perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshooting Ensure adherence to quality standards and safety protocols Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical documents Minimize downtime and improve operational efficiency Support knowledge sharing and assist in team development when needed Required Qualifications Minimum 3+ years of experience in CNC turning (Setup/Operator role) Proven experience in CNC programming and troubleshooting Strong machining skills with high attention to detail Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints Good understanding of quality control and safety standards Stable work history (no frequent job changes; preferably 3+ years with one employer) High school diploma or equivalent (Technical/Vocational training preferred)
