Job Title:

Outpatient Therapist Summary:

The therapist/psychologist is responsible for providing individual therapy (and optional group therapy) services to MEC clients. This is a full-time in-person or hybrid therapist position consisting of 20+ clinical hours per week.

Minimum Qualification Requirements:

Master's Degree or Doctoral Degree in counseling or related field Fully licensed (LCMHC, LP, LCSW, LMFT) in the State of North Carolina Passionate about the art of therapy and honing your clinical craft Ability to identify problem areas and work collaboratively to find solutions Self-motivated and willing to take on new challenges/responsibilities Capable of working independently AND collaborating with a team Comprehensive knowledge of ethics and best clinical practices Strong time management and executive functioning skills Highly effective communication and interpersonal skills 100% values-aligned with MEC Core Values (listed above) Highly interested in working with young adults (ages 20 - early 40s) Outgoing and highly personable Available to hold at least 20 patient sessions per week, provided such sessions are available and referred/scheduled by Modern Era. Able to work a few evenings, Fridays, and/or Saturdays to accommodate clients as needed

Other Qualification Preferences:

Prior experience in a private practice setting Fully licensed for 3+ years Prior credentialing with BCBS, Aetna, and other payers
