Job Description

Trauma-Informed Experiential Therapist Preference given to clinicians with child/adolescent experience and play therapy training Murray, Utah
  • Part-Time | Full-Time
  • W-2 Employee
  • $40-55/hour Radiant Mind Wellness is a person-centered, trauma-informed private practice specializing in experiential psychotherapy.
We believe healing occurs through authentic relationship, creativity, curiosity, and respect for each person's innate capacity toward growth. Rather than focusing solely on symptom reduction, we help clients reconnect with themselves through relational, expressive, and embodied approaches to therapy. We are a collaborative, values-driven group practice serving children, adolescents, and adults. We are seeking an additional therapist whose clinical philosophy aligns with ours and who values meaningful therapeutic relationships, ongoing professional development, and thoughtful clinical practice. Who We're Looking For We are looking for clinicians who are naturally drawn toward experiential, relational, and trauma-informed psychotherapy.
We value therapists who:
Practice from a person-centered, attachment-informed perspective View therapy as a collaborative process rather than a directive one Are comfortable working beyond purely cognitive interventions Appreciate the role of creativity, embodiment, and nonverbal expression in healing Value consultation, collaboration, and lifelong learning Want to build a sustainable, meaningful practice within a supportive team We welcome both fully licensed and associate licensed clinicians who are a strong philosophical fit. Preference Will Be Given To Clinicians With Experience Or Interest In Child-Centered Play Therapy Child and adolescent psychotherapy Clinical Art Therapy Expressive Arts Therapy EMDR Sandtray Therapy Somatic psychotherapy Attachment-focused therapy Trauma and dissociation-informed treatment Clinical hypnosis Other experiential approaches consistent with our philosophy Applicants do not need experience in every area. We do ask that any specialization you name reflects genuine clinical training in that area — for example, art therapy grounded in a master's in clinical art therapy or ATCB-approved postgraduate training, formal EMDR training, or legitimate somatic training. We value clinicians whose therapeutic philosophy aligns with our practice and who are excited to keep growing professionally. Qualifications Required Current Utah licensure (ACMHC, LCMHC, CSW, LCSW, AMFT, LMFT, or equivalent) Foundational trauma competency Alignment with expressive and creative work — art, play, or sandtray — as a central language of therapy Willingness to provide in-person services in Murray, with some virtual sessions as needed Availability for at least two evening and/or weekend time slots per week to serve child and adolescent clients Commitment to ethical, trauma-informed clinical practice Associate clinicians are encouraged to apply. While we welcome provisionally licensed clinicians, we are not currently accepting graduate student interns. Preferred Training in child/adolescent and play therapy (RPT or RPT-track a plus, not required) Prior private practice experience Leadership Opportunities As our practice grows, we are especially excited to connect with experienced clinicians interested in helping shape the future of our clinical team through mentorship, consultation, or clinical supervision. Clinicians with advanced experience in child and adolescent therapy, Child-Centered Play Therapy, or clinical supervision are encouraged to let us know about these interests as part of their application. What We Offer W-2 employment, paid per clinical session ($40-55/hour, depending on licensure and experience) Paid time off (full-time) 401(k) Professional development support, including funded advanced training Clinical supervision (for associate clinicians) and ongoing consultation Flexible scheduling Collaborative, supportive team culture Thoughtfully designed therapy spaces Administrative support for scheduling and billing A practice that encourages clinicians to develop and grow their own areas of specialization About Radiant Mind Wellness Radiant Mind Wellness is a small private practice rooted in person-centered, trauma-informed, and experiential psychotherapy. Our clinicians work from relational models that honor each client's unique story while integrating experiential approaches that foster lasting healing and growth. We intentionally maintain a collaborative culture where clinicians are encouraged to deepen their own therapeutic voice, pursue advanced training, and cultivate specialties that contribute to the growth of the practice. To Apply Please submit your resume/CV along with a brief cover letter telling us about how you practice therapy. We'd love to hear about your therapeutic philosophy, the populations you most enjoy working with, and the kinds of clinical work that feel most meaningful to you.
