This position is a great opportunity for an athletic trainer who enjoys working with athletes but also wants to be part of a broader sports medicine and rehabilitation team . Our athletic trainers work collaboratively with other athletic trainers, physical therapists, occupational therapists, orthopedic providers, coaches, schools, and community partners to provide high-quality care from the time an injury occurs through rehabilitation and return to sport. Harris & Renshaw Physical Therapy is a locally owned and growing outpatient rehabilitation company with multiple locations throughout Central Arkansas. Sports medicine and community outreach continue to be an important part of our organization, and we are looking for the right person to help us continue expanding those relationships. What You'll Do Provide athletic training coverage and sports medicine services for local schools, athletic programs, and community partners Evaluate and manage acute athletic injuries Assist athletes, parents, and coaches with appropriate injury management and referral Coordinate care with physical therapists, occupational therapists, orthopedic providers, and other healthcare professionals Help guide athletes through the continuum of care from initial injury through rehabilitation and return to play Build strong relationships with coaches, athletic directors, athletes, parents, physicians, and community partners Assist with sports medicine events, injury clinics, screenings, and community outreach Work alongside other athletic trainers as part of a collaborative sports medicine team Assist with clinical responsibilities within our physical therapy locations when appropriate What We're Looking For We are looking for someone who is: A Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) and eligible for Arkansas licensure Passionate about sports medicine and working with athletes Comfortable communicating with athletes, parents, coaches, physicians, and other healthcare professionals Dependable, professional, and able to work independently when needed A strong team player who enjoys collaborating with other healthcare professionals Interested in developing long-term relationships with schools and communities Organized and comfortable balancing clinical and outreach responsibilities Both experienced athletic trainers and new graduates are encouraged to apply.
