Requirements / Qualifications
Meets degree requirements needed for certification by the Board of Certification for the Athletic Trainer. One year of experience providing first aid, preventative and rehabilitative treatment to athletes. Valid certification by the Board of Certification for the Athletic Trainer. Valid First Aid and Adult CPR certification from an accredited organization. Valid California driver license. Length of Work Year / Work Schedule / Hours 11 months (238 days) / 1:00 PM

Examination process:
Completed applications will be formally evaluated for minimum qualifications. Candidates who meet the minimum qualifications then complete a Qualifications Appraisal Interview (scored interview), weight: 100%. The competitive basis for this recruitment is established as dual certification: candidates who meet the minimum qualifications and pass the exams are placed on an eligibility list.
