Part-Time Athletic Trainer Schedule:
Monday-Friday | Approximately 20 Hours per

Secondary Schools (Middle & High School) About the Opportunity Looking for a way to stay engaged in student-athlete care without the rigid commitment of a traditional full-time role? ATvantage is seeking a BOC Certified Athletic Trainer in Irvine, CA to provide consistent athletic training services within a small private secondary school setting. This opportunity is ideal for athletic trainers seeking a predictable weekday schedule, supplemental income, or a long-term part-time role that offers meaningful impact while preserving work-life balance. What You'll Do As the athletic trainer, you will provide comprehensive sports medicine services and serve as a trusted healthcare resource for student-athletes and school staff.
Your responsibilities will include:
On-Site Care:
Provide injury prevention, evaluation, triage, rehabilitation, and athletic training support for middle and high school athletic programs.
First Response:
Serve as the primary medical authority and first responder during scheduled practices and athletic activities.
Collaborate:
Partner with coaches, school staff, physicians, and families to ensure athletes receive high-quality, compassionate care.
Campus Support:
Assist with campus wellness initiatives and student safety efforts as needed.
Documentation:
Maintain clear, professional, and timely injury, treatment, and referral records.
Schedule & Perks Consistent Schedule:
Approximately 20 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
Work-Life Balance:
No mornings, weekends, holidays, or school breaks required.
Predictable Hours:
Early afternoon coverage with shifts typically ending by 5:00 PM on Fridays, no football.
Supportive Team:
Backed by an experienced, athletic trainer-led leadership team committed to your success.
Who You Are Certified:
Board of Certification (BOC) Certified Athletic Trainer with current CPR/AED certification.
Qualified:
Eligible to practice as an Athletic Trainer in California and able to complete all required school onboarding requirements.
Independent:
Comfortable managing athletic training services autonomously within a school setting.
