The group is comprised of over 100 Specialists, Nurse Practitioners and other staff, covering newborn to women's health services at Kapi'olani Medical Center for Women & Children. KMS operates exclusively for charitable, scientific and educational purposes, offering highly specialized care options at Kapi'olani and building support for these services within Hawai'i as a whole. The group's specialty areas include: Neurology, Orthopedics,Genetics, Adolescent Medicine, Otolaryngology, Behavioral Health Services, Hematology/Oncology, Neonatology, Pediatric Intensive Care, Family Medicine and the full spectrum of Pediatric Specialties. Its Women's specialists include Breast and General Surgery, Adult Hospitalists and GYN Oncology. Our Orthopedics department is trained to handle the most common of injuries, from sprains, broken bones and sports injuries, to specialized conditions such as arthritis and congenital disorders. Our multi-disciplinary team includes fellowship-trained orthopedic physicians, rheumatologists, physical therapists, nurses and other health care providers that specialize in treating a wide range of injuries in children and adults. As the Athletic Trainer, you would work in tandem with physicians and staff utilizing your effective interpersonal skills to perform thorough evaluations for assigned patients. We are looking for someone with exceptional customer service and people skills, who shares our commitment to delivering the highest quality health care to Hawai'i's people.

Rehab Services Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in related field. Current Hawaii Athletic Trainer Registration. Athletic Trainer Certification from the National Athletic Trainer Association Board of Certification (NATABOC). Current American Heart Association Health Care Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR card.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's Degree in related field. One (1) year of working experience with a patient's rehabilitation activities to include exercise instructions, demonstration, and patient evaluation and testing.
