Normal, IL Job Summary The Athletic Trainer will provide quality health care primarily to their assigned sport but support other staff members with health care for all 400+ student-athletes at Illinois State University. The Trainer will be responsible for all aspects of health care including, but not limited to: practice coverage, competition coverage, treatment, rehabilitation, post-injury care, injury prevention, and facilitation of physician referrals. The sport assignment will be with Men's and Women's Track and Field. The Athletic Trainer will serve as a Preceptor in the athletic training education program. Additional administrative duties will be assigned by the Head Athletic Trainer.

Bachelor's degree 2. State of Illinois Athletic Training license or Illinois Athletic Training license eligible 3. Eligible to sit for Board of Certification (BOC) exam prior to June 1, 2026. Preferred Qualifications 1. Master's degree. 2. Board of Certification (BOC) certified. 3. 1-2 years of collegiate experience. Ability to occasionally lift of 15
