Overview We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Certified Athletic Trainer to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this role, you will provide specialized athlete patient care, injury prevention, and rehabilitation services within a fast-paced environment. Your expertise will support athletes' health, optimize performance, and ensure safe recovery from injuries through comprehensive treatment plans and collaboration with other healthcare professionals. Duties Assess and treat musculoskeletal injuries using evidence-based sports medicine techniques. Develop and implement injury prevention protocols tailored to individual athletes' needs. Provide sports rehabilitation therapy to facilitate safe return to activity and improve functional movement. Educate athletes on body mechanics, nutrition, and injury management strategies to promote overall health. Collaborate closely with physicians, physical therapists, personal trainers, and other healthcare providers to coordinate care. Maintain detailed documentation of patient progress using electronic medical records (EMR/EHR) systems. Administer first aid, CPR, and emergency care when necessary to ensure immediate response during incidents. Conduct physiologic assessments and utilize sports medicine knowledge to optimize athletic performance. Skills Proficiency in health coaching techniques and athlete patient communication. Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, body mechanics, and medical terminology relevant to sports medicine. Experience with sports rehabilitation therapy, injury treatment protocols, and implementing injury prevention strategies. Ability to perform first aid, basic life support (BLS), emergency care, and manage musculoskeletal injuries effectively. Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems for accurate documentation of patient care. Knowledge of nutrition principles as they relate to athletic performance and recovery. Excellent collaboration skills for working with healthcare professionals and supporting athlete clients' needs. Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality in accordance with privacy regulations.
