Job Description

If so, Orthopaedic Associates of Maine wants YOU to join our team as an Athletic Trainer or Orthopaedic Technologist! Why Join Us? In this role, you'll work alongside renowned orthopaedic physicians, helping patients navigate their recovery journey. You'll get hands-on experience in patient care, casting, splinting, DME fitting, and injury prevention education—all while making a meaningful difference in people's lives. What You'll Do Assist in patient intake—rooming, vital signs, and obtaining medical history Triage and assess patients, prioritizing urgent cases and coordinating care with physicians & APPs Provide patient education on injury prevention, rehabilitation, pre/post-op care, and wellness Apply casts, splints, braces, and DME to support recovery Train patients on proper device use and gait techniques Assist with in-office procedures and ensure efficient patient flow Document patient interactions accurately in the electronic health record (EHR) Communicate effectively with patients, families, providers, and clinic staff Maintain confidentiality and uphold the highest standards of patient care and safety W hat You Bring to the Table Bachelor's/Master's degree in Athletic Training (BOC certification required)
OR NBCOT
certification (required within 2 years Current Maine Licensure BLS certification (required) Experience in orthopaedic injury evaluation and patient care Strong organizational, communication, and teamwork skills Ability to multi-task in a high-energy environment What's in It for You?
