Job Description
This is a Part-Time ONSITE non-benefited position offering competitive salary, great benefits, and culture as well as excellent growth opportunities. We are looking for a Part-Time candidate in Portland, ME. Role is 1 day (and may increase to 2 or 3 days ) per week. Hours are likely 8:00 am-4:30 pm and will be confirmed with offer. - About this position We are seeking a passionate wellness professional/acute care provider to provide on-site injury management, ergonomics, and one-on-one health behavior change interventions for our client.
Responsibilities and Duties NOTE:
You MUST be an Athletic Trainer through the BOC- NATA (not a personal trainer). Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide triage and acute services to various trades for City employees and construction site employees
- Effectively communicate with medical direction/oversight
- Provide one-to-one health coaching for workers
- Lead stretch, flex, and focusTM warm-up sessions for various workers onsite
- Work closely with safety committees, union representatives, and foremen to provide wellness education to the population
- Create and deploy health promotion, education, activities, and challenges
- Track health behavior change using proprietary health coaching software
- Conduct in-person health risk assessments, drug screens, and biometric screens (training provided)
