Job Description

Eligible for a $5,000 Sign-On Bonus We are seeking a full‑time Athletic Trainer dedicated exclusively to Stockbridge High School. The athletic trainer will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining a comprehensive health care program for student‑athletes and other patients as needed. This role requires a strong communicator who can effectively serve as a liaison between the Stockbridge athletic department and Henry Ford Jackson.
About Stockbridge High School:
Stockbridge Highschool is located in the community of Stockbridge within Ingham County and approximately 29 miles from Jackson, is a proud member of the Michigan High School Athletic Association. As a Class C school offering 12 competitive sports programs, Stockbridge provides student‑athletes with a robust and high‑quality athletic experience.
What You'll Do:
Provide prevention, evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation of athletic injuries Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with applicable policies and standards Collaborate with coaches, administrators, and health care professionals to support athlete well‑being Serve as the primary point of contact between the school's athletic department and Henry Ford Health Why Join Us? What We're Looking For:
Board of Certification (ATC) and Michigan state licensure (or eligibility to obtain before hire). A post-professional master's degree in athletic training or related field is preferred, along with two years of experience (can be combination of education and experience). Strong ability to work independently while thriving in a team-oriented environment. Knowledge and adherence to NCAA, NJCAA, and MHSAA policies, with a commitment to supporting community outreach programs.
Additional Skills or Certifications:
Additional certifications like
CSCS, PES, FMS, CKTP, EMT
