HOLY CROSS PREPARATORY ACADEMY HEAD ATHLETIC TRAINER
Holy Cross Prep Academy (HCPA), an independent preparatory high school in Delran, NJ has an immediate opening for a Head Athletic Trainer. The salary range for this position is $40-50k. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, a life insurance plan, and an employee discount for HCPA tuition. We offer a 403(b) retirement plan with an up to 3% employer match. Also offered is paid sick and personal time off.

        Athletic Director SUMMARY:
        The Head Athletic Trainer is responsible for providing athletic training coverage for all athletic programs at Holy Cross Preparatory Academy.
        DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
        • Meet regularly with the Athletic Director to provide updates about student-athletes, inventory of the athletic training room, etc.
        • Ten (10) month position, plus 80 hours in June/July.
        • Summer camps as directed by the Athletic Director.
        • Weekday hours of 12:00 pm through 30 minutes after conclusion of games/practices.
        • Weekend hours as determined by practice/game schedule and the Athletic Director.
        • The Head Athletic Trainer will work in accordance with a weekly schedule to be determined by the Athletic Director. Weekly schedules will vary according to the athletic season.
        • Manages the Athletic Training Room, including tracking inventory, equipment, etc.
        REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
        • Bachelor's Degree in Athletic Training or a related field; Master's Degree Preferred.
        • Minimum of 1 year of experience as an Athletic Trainer in a high school setting.
        • Current certification and continuing education requirements as set forth by the National Head Athletic Trainers' Association Board of Certification.
        • Current state licensure in accordance with the New Jersey Board of Athletic Trainer Examiners.
        • Current certification in CPR/AED Emergency Cardiac Care.
        • Demonstrated leadership capability.
        • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
        • Mobility, strength, visual and auditory acuity adequate for immediate response to athletes' needs.
