Start Time:

Mid-August (beginning during pre-season). Position Summary The Athletic Trainer will provide comprehensive athletic training services for all student-athletes and visiting teams during practices and interscholastic games. This role ensures student safety, aligns with athletic best practices, and supports our institutional goal of joining regional athletic leagues.

Key Responsibilities Coverage:

Maintain a consistent presence on campus for all scheduled athletic practices and home games.

Injury Prevention & Assessment:

Evaluate, manage, and treat athletic injuries for home-team student-athletes and visiting teams as needed.

Emergency Care & Treatment:

Provide immediate first aid and acute injury management during practice hours and athletic events.

Communication:

Collaborate with coaches, administrators, and parents/guardians regarding athlete safety, injury status, and return-to-play protocols.

Qualifications & Requirements Certification:

Athletic Trainer Certification (ATC) required.

Experience:

Experience working with student-athletes in a school or youth sports environment preferred. Physical Requirements & Working Conditions Ability to navigate the school campus effectively, including walking across grounds and climbing stairs. Outdoor work required in various weather conditions throughout the fall, winter, and spring athletic seasons.
