Athletic Trainer 2026/27 East Irondequoit Central School District - 3.5 Irondequoit, NY Job Details Full-time $60,000 a year 1 day ago Qualifications Bachelor's degree First aid and CPR Full Job Description The East Irondequoit CSD is seeking a dedicated and highly motivated Athletic Trainer to join our team. The athletic trainer will work under the supervision of the district medical director and report to the Director of Athletics. This is a full-time, 12-month, position. Responsibilities are but not limited to the following: Provide injury evaluation, first aid and emergency care when needed at practices, games and school athletic events Create and implement prevention, treatment and rehabilitation programs for sport-related injuries Maintenance and management of the athletic training room facility Communication with physicians, coaches, Director of Athletics, families and school staff Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment Maintenance of medical records Oversight of the East Irondequoit Emergency Action Plans Abide by standing orders and scope of practice in New York State Evening and weekend work are required Other duties as assigned by the Director of Athletics •Candidates must demonstrate effective interpersonal and communication skills with all constituents• Job Qualifications Bachelor's degree in athletic training or related field from an accredited institution is required (Master's degree preferred) Current NATABOC Certification Current New York State Department of Education Licensure CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer or equivalent
