Job Description
•SIGN
Performs patient intake, records vitals and medical histories, manages EMR documentation, assists with procedures, prepares injections per physician orders, responds to clinical calls per protocol, and performs staple/suture removal and dressing application.
Fits and educates patients on DME, coordinates insurance authorizations, and maintains clinical areas to ensure efficient, high-quality patient care.
Prepares EMRs for new patients, ensures forms are complete and accurate, reviews progress notes and urgent orders, and prepares charge tickets.

Provides clinical and administrative support in outpatient care and durable medical equipment (DME) services under the supervision of licensed providers.Performs patient intake, records vitals and medical histories, manages EMR documentation, assists with procedures, prepares injections per physician orders, responds to clinical calls per protocol, and performs staple/suture removal and dressing application.
Fits and educates patients on DME, coordinates insurance authorizations, and maintains clinical areas to ensure efficient, high-quality patient care.

What We're Looking For:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Athletic Training or related field from an accredited program required. Master's degree in Athletic Training or related field preferred.Experience:
3-5 years of demonstrated experience as an Athletic Trainer or related field, preferred.Skills:
Proficiency in EMR systems preferred. Knowledge of clinical safety protocols and quality standards. Comfortable adapting to changing priorities and clinical demands.License/Certifications:
Current license to practice Athletic Training in the State of Ohio required; Certified by the Board of Certification (BOC), Inc. for Athletic Trainers preferred; BLS required.Similar jobs in Akron, OH
