QUALIFICATIONS
 Although, Individual are encouraged to apply, the Ideal candidate with the following experience will only be considered. Must be US Citizen or Authorized to Work in the United States No Sponsorship Available Requirements for Athletic Trainer Bachelor's degree in Athletic Training, Exercise Science, Sports Medicine, Health Sciences, or another related healthcare field; equivalent education and directly related experience may be considered. Minimum of two (2) years of athletic training experience in a school, college, university, sports medicine, or comparable athletic environment preferred. Current Oregon Athletic Trainer License required upon hire. Current Board of Certification (BOC) credential/membership for Athletic Trainers required upon hire. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association required upon hire. Ability to successfully complete a Department of Human Services (DHS) criminal background check in accordance with company policy and applicable state regulations. Demonstrated knowledge of athletic injury prevention, assessment, treatment, rehabilitation, and return-to-play principles. Ability to work effectively with athletes of varying ages, abilities, and levels of competition. Ability to work collaboratively with physicians, physical therapists, rehabilitation professionals, coaches, school personnel, parents/guardians, and other members of the care team. Availability to provide coverage for athletic events, practices, and other assigned activities, including schedules that may include evenings and weekends.
SKILLS:
 Skills and Abilities Required for Athletic Trainer Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills. Ability to recognize, evaluate, and appropriately triage acute and potentially serious injuries. Knowledge of injury prevention, emergency response, therapeutic interventions, rehabilitation, and conditioning principles. Strong understanding of safe return-to-activity and return-to-play protocols. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with athletes, families, coaches, and healthcare professionals. Ability to establish credibility and trust within a school or athletic program. Strong organizational skills and attention to clinical documentation and follow-through. Ability to remain calm, focused, and decisive in high-pressure situations. Ability to work independently while functioning effectively as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team. Commitment to patient-centered care, professional ethics, confidentiality, and evidence-informed clinical practice. Adaptability and professionalism in fast-paced, changing athletic environments.
