Job Description

Position Summary GMG EnviroSafe provides compliance expertise and personal support to the automotive and manufacturing industries across the United States and Canada. HealthAssure by GMG EnviroSafe takes workplace health and safety above and beyond compliance requirements by using a total worker health approach for employees to thrive in both their work environment and at home. With their extensive background in the sciences and as experts in health and wellness, healthcare professionals have a critical role in fulfilling HealthAssure's mission to identify workplace hazards, prevent injuries and illnesses, and promote worker well-being. Essential Functions
  • Lead in-person safety committees to develop injury and illness prevention strategies.
  • Analyze employee injury and illness data to identify ergonomics opportunities.
  • Complete worksite evaluations of employee health hazards including ergonomics, airborne, chemical, biological, and physical hazards.
  • Collaborate with a team to understand clients' businesses including job roles and work processes.
  • Conduct up to 8 hours of in-person training classes with employees of assigned customers.
  • Investigate injuries and illnesses to identify root causes and share lessons learned across the organization to prevent reoccurrence. Required Qualifications
  • Valid athletic trainer certification and license in the state of residence.
  • Current First Aid, CPR and AED certification.
  • Ability to work from home: functional computer, high-speed internet connection, and autonomous time management.
  • Ability to travel up to 60% of the time, including 2-3 weeks per quarter, in-state overnight travel.
  • Great communicator: clear, direct, and accessible. Comfortable listening, providing feedback, and reporting progress and results to leadership.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office and Teams.
  • Valid driver's license in the state of residence. Compensation & Benefits
Salary Range:
$70,000-$75,000 per year base salary with bonus opportunities and Company vehicle
