PRN Job Description:
Duties/Responsibilities Athletic Trainers coordinate and provides coverage for outside events on behalf of the Sports Medicine Center Assist in the assessment and treatment of sport-related injuries at events designated by the Scotitsh Rite Provide sports injury assessment at events, and on-site care of athletic injuries, such as immediate first aid and evaluation of injury status Refer athletes requiring additional medical or health care services to the appropriate resources for such care (for example, the athlete's primary care physician or nearest hospital) Required Skills/Abilities Minimum Bachelor's degree in an accredited athletic training program or related field Minimum 1-2 years of experience preferred Board of Certification, Inc. (BOC) certification preferred License in the state of Texas CPR required At Scottish Rite for Children, we work together with the common goal of helping give children back their childhood.
