Therapy Services Supervisor | Dean South Madison Campus | SSM Health Join SSM Health as a Therapy Services Supervisor and lead a highly collaborative rehabilitation team dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care. Based at our Dean South Madison Campus , this leadership role oversees a multidisciplinary team of Physical Therapists, Physical Therapist Assistants, Occupational Therapists, Speech Language Pathologists, and Rehabilitation Aides . As Therapy Services Supervisor, you'll be responsible for staff development, performance management, operational oversight, and strategic growth of therapy services. You'll partner closely with providers and clinical leaders across disciplines to ensure high-quality patient outcomes, efficient clinic operations, and an outstanding patient experience. We are seeking a strong leader who can foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and excellence in patient care . The ideal candidate is comfortable navigating difficult conversations, coaching team members through challenges, and building strong relationships that promote professional growth and team success. Prior leadership experience is preferred, but we are open to candidates with demonstrated leadership potential and a passion for developing others. Key Responsibilities Lead and support a multidisciplinary rehabilitation team, including PTs, PTAs, OTs, SLPs, and Rehab Aides Onboard, mentor, and develop staff Manage daily clinic operations and workflow Monitor and utilize operational and clinical data to drive performance improvements Address employee relations and performance concerns with professionalism and empathy Collaborate with providers, clinic leaders, and interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient care Champion a culture of teamwork, accountability, continuous improvement, and patient-centered care This is an excellent opportunity for a therapist or healthcare leader who is passionate about developing teams, driving clinical excellence, and making a meaningful impact on the patients and communities we serve.
Job Summary:
Supervises daily activities within an assigned area of rehabilitative services.
Job Responsibilities and Requirements:
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Determines, coordinates, and supervises daily staffing assignments and staffing levels. Provides leadership, orientation, training, coaching, and mentoring to departmental clinicians. Assists with performance evaluations and disciplinary actions. Coordinates patient care with other members of the healthcare team to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and the achievement of desired patient outcomes. May participate in the direct delivery of care. Completes evaluations and treatments as needed. Works in a constant state of alertness and safe manner. Performs other duties as assigned.

Bachelor's degree

Two years experience
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Constant standing. Frequent lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 0-25 lbs. Frequent use of hearing and speech to share information through oral communication. Frequent use of hearing to distinguish body sounds and/or hear alarms, malfunctioning machinery, etc. Frequent use of vision for distances near (20 inches or less) and far (20 feet or more). Frequent walking, reaching, gripping and keyboard use/data entry. Occasional bending, stooping, climbing, kneeling, sitting, squatting, twisting and repetitive foot/leg and hand/arm movements. Occasional lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 25-50 lbs. Occasional lifting/moving patients. Occasional use of vision to judge distances and spatial relationships and to identify and distinguish colors. Occasional driving. Rare crawling.
