About the Opportunity We offer a formal training curriculum that comprehensively addresses a variety of patient experiences in sunny Arizona. Not only will we cover comprehensive audiologic evaluations, diverse amplification systems, and patient-centered counseling techniques, you will have the opportunity to perform tinnitus evaluations and help patients find relief from their tinnitus. You will participate in hands-on experiences working alongside our experienced and highly motivated audiology team to learn the nuances and practicalities of adult audiology in a private clinical setting. About the Externship This is a paid position featuring both base salary as well as commission at our locations in Fountain Hills, Maricopa, San Tan Valley, and Sun Lakes, Arizona, which are just outside of beautiful Phoenix. Live and work near plenty of activities, events, shopping, food, and more in the picturesque Southwest. The externship position will begin May/June 2026 and will last 12 months while you finalize your training to earn your doctoral degree and make a difference in the lives of your patients and their communities.
Compensation & Benefits Salary:
$32,000/year, paid bi-weekly, plus commission on hearing aids sold
Time Off:
7 paid holidays + 10 days PTO + 3 sick days
Educational Support:

Yes Externship site expects the extern to have mastered these skills before they begin their clinical externship: A successful candidate will have mastered comprehensive testing and masking techniques by the time they begin their 4th year. Working proficiency in HA selection and fitting is preferred. Willingness to learn and interpersonal skills are required. We are looking for a team player with a positive learning attitude.
