Job Description
Overview Club Xcite is hiring a School-Based Audiologist to support students in a public-school setting within the Bakersfield, CA area. This is a full time assignment for the 2026/2027 school year.

Local Pay Rate:
$110 - $115 per hourTraveler Pay Rate:
$4650 - $4842 weekly•includes untaxed travel stipends for 40-hour weekSetting:

School schedule, 40-hours weekly; 36-weeks per year Essential Duties and Responsibilities Provide direct audiology services to support student access to instruction and communication Conduct hearing screenings, audiological assessments, and participate in required school meetings (IEPs, evaluations, etc.) Deliver consultation services for students with hearing loss and auditory needs Manage and support hearing assistive technology, including FM/DM systems and other amplification equipment Train and support school staff on hearing loss, device use, classroom accommodations, and communication strategies Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support student participation and educational success Monitor student progress and adjust recommendations to ensure appropriate services Document services and maintain compliance with school-based and state requirements Required Qualifications Doctorate (Au.D.) or Master's Degree in Audiology Active California Audiology License (and/or Credential, if required by district) School-based or pediatric experience preferred Strong collaboration, organization, and communication skills Ability to travel locally between school sites Why Club Xcite?
