Valid California Audiology license required Experience working with school-aged children is highly desirable Expertise in conducting audiological assessments, including for students with hearing loss and Central Auditory Processing Disorder (CAPD) Proficiency in preparing assessment reports and supporting IEP, IFSP, and 504 planning Ability to collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams and consult with families and staff Skilled in managing HAT/FM equipment, hearing aids, and providing related troubleshooting and maintenance Adaptable professional comfortable with an itinerant schedule and working across multiple school sites Key responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive assessments and deliver clear, actionable reports Encourage student success by directly supporting the development and implementation of IEPs, IFSPs, and 504 plans Maintain, order, and troubleshoot a variety of hearing assistance technologies and amplification equipment Serve as a consultant to school teams, families, and district personnel, sharing expertise and recommendations Participate in meetings and planning sessions to foster inclusive educational environments for students with hearing-related needs This position promises a rewarding blend of autonomy and collaboration, where your audiological skills will directly create a more accessible, supportive educational experience for diverse learners.
