As a dedicated audiologist, you'll collaborate with educational professionals and families to ensure students have access to the support and resources they need to succeed.

Desired Skills and Experience:

Valid California audiologist license (or eligibility) Masters or Doctorate degree in Audiology from an accredited program Prior experience working with pediatric or school-aged populations preferred Proficient in conducting hearing screenings, diagnostic assessments, and fitting/maintaining hearing devices Strong interpersonal and communication abilities for effective collaboration with students, staff, and parents Detail-oriented and organized, with strong documentation skills

Key Responsibilities:

Perform comprehensive hearing evaluations for students across K-12 grade levels Develop and implement individualized hearing management strategies Fit and maintain assistive listening devices and hearing aids as needed Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support student IEP goals and 504 plans Educate staff, students, and families on best practices for hearing health and classroom accommodations Maintain thorough records and documentation in compliance with school and state requirements This position offers rewarding daily experiences as you see the positive impact on students educational journeys.
