About Us Neuroscience Specialty Centers (NSC) is a multidisciplinary outpatient clinic providing comprehensive care for patients with complex neurological and vestibular disorders. Our team includes neurologists, physician assistants, and audiologists with advanced training in vestibular science. We are committed to evidence-based care, interdisciplinary collaboration, and advancing clinical practice through education and research. Externship Description We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic fourth-year audiology resident with a strong interest in vestibular evaluation and management. The resident will work alongside experienced vestibular audiologists and other medical professionals to evaluate and manage patients with dizziness, vertigo, imbalance, and complex vestibular pathologies. Externs will gain advanced, hands-on experience in: Videonystagmography (VNG) Vestibular Evoked Myogenic Potentials (cVEMP/oVEMP) Rotary Chair Testing Functional assessments Canalith Repositioning Maneuvers (CRMs) Observation and participation in vestibular rehabilitation and follow-up care Nerve Conduction Velocity (NCV) / Electromyography (EMG) testing Electrophysiological auditory processing evaluations Remote vestibular diagnostics through Topple Diagnostics We place a strong emphasis on vestibular anatomy & physiology, clinical reasoning, interdisciplinary collaboration, and developing proficiency in interpreting complex vestibular test results.
