POSITION SUMMARY
The Audiologist provides comprehensive diagnostic and rehabilitative audiology services for patients of the
SGMC ENT
Clinic. This role supports the evaluation, diagnosis, and management of hearing and balance disorders across the lifespan and works collaboratively with ENT physicians and clinic staff to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care. The Audiologist contributes to the growth and development of audiology services within SGMC Health while maintaining compliance with clinical, regulatory, and organizational standards.
EDUCATION
Doctor of Audiology (Au.
D.) from an accredited program required Current Georgia Audiology License required CPR/BLS certification required ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-A) preferred but not required
EXPERIENCE
Minimum one (1) year of clinical audiology experience preferred Experience in an ENT clinic or physician practice setting preferred New graduates will be considered
WORKING CONDITIONS - ADA INFORMATION
Works primarily in a clinic environment with direct patient contact. Requires standing, walking, bending, and sitting for extended periods. Requires manual dexterity to operate audiology and office equipment. Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds.
