Key Qualifications:
Masters or doctoral degree (Au.
D. or Ph.D.) in Audiology Current Texas Licensure as an Audiologist Experience working 1:1 with pediatric populations, preferably in educational or school settings Strong interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with students, families, and school teams Demonstrated adaptability, reliability, and problem-solving abilities
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive audiological evaluations and support for students in a school setting Collaborate with educators and other support staff to develop and implement individualized educational plans (IEPs) Offer ongoing management of hearing aids, cochlear implants, and other assistive listening devices Educate students, parents, and staff on hearing health and classroom accommodations Maintain clear, timely documentation of all services provided, adhering to school and state requirements Participate in multidisciplinary meetings to ensure each child reaches their full potential
