Travel We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Audiologist to conduct Veterans Benefits Administration (VBA) Medical Disability Examinations (MDEs) as an independent contractor. This position offers flexibility, autonomy, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by supporting Veterans throughout the disability evaluation process. Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive audiological evaluations for Veterans in accordance with VBA examination guidelines. Perform hearing assessments, including pure-tone audiometry, speech recognition testing, and tinnitus evaluations. Assess and document the severity and functional impact of hearing-related conditions. Complete accurate, objective, and timely medical reports using standardized VBA documentation systems. Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and a Veteran-centered approach throughout the examination process. Provide independent medical findings for disability determinations; no treatment, prescribing, or follow-up care is required. Qualifications Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) or Master's Degree in Audiology from an accredited program. Active, unrestricted Audiology license in the state where services are provided.
