This role focuses on performing an Independent Educational Evaluation (IEE) for auditory processing, to be completed before the end of September. Collaborate closely with a dedicated school Nurse to deliver high-quality assessments that make a real difference in students educational journeys. The assignment is limited to a single evaluation, allowing you to contribute your expertise without a long-term commitment.

Qualifications and Experience:

Current and active Audiologist License for Illinois Strong background in conducting Independent Educational Evaluations, specifically in auditory processing Previous experience working with school-aged children is highly desirable Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team Detail-oriented and organized, ensuring comprehensive and accurate reporting Flexible and reliable, able to commit to the evaluation timeline

Duties and Responsibilities:

Conduct an IEE focused on auditory processing for a student within the school setting Work in cooperation with the school Nurse to ensure all medical and educational aspects are addressed Prepare detailed evaluation reports and share findings with relevant stakeholders Adhere to all professional guidelines, ethical standards, and confidentiality protocols Complete the assessment and documentation in accordance with required timeframes Enjoy the flexibility of a short-term assignment and the satisfaction of playing a vital part in a students educational access and success.
