9626948-66104 Job Description Step into an exciting contract opportunity supporting students from Pre-K through 12th grade as an Audiologist. Based near Kansas City, KS, this position centers on working with the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) community, offering specialized support and expertise across multiple campuses throughout the school year. The assignment begins ASAP and runs through May 2027, with full-time hours preferred, though partial availability can be considered. Experience the dynamic environment of school-based audiology by prioritizing DHH students, conducting essential audiology reports, and providing frequent consultations and feedback to staff. You'll play a key role in helping staff better serve their diverse student body, working closely with a Pre-K group of nine students and additional caseloads across grade levels as determined during your interview.

Qualifications:

Active, valid professional state license to practice audiology in Kansas. Credentialing by the Kansas Board of Hearing Aid Examiners or related Kansas credentialing authority. Masters or doctoral degree in audiology. Comfortable and experienced in supporting students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing. Excellent consultation and communication skills; able to collaborate with educators and related staff. Willingness to travel and provide services across multiple school campuses as needed. Previous school or pediatric audiology experience preferred.
