In person Frontera Search is seeking a licensed Audiologist to perform in-person Compensation and Pension (C&P) disability examinations for Veterans. Candidates must reside or practice within 50 miles of Bemidji, Minnesota. This is an evaluation-only position with no treatment, hearing-aid dispensing, or ongoing patient care. The Audiologist will conduct objective hearing evaluations, review relevant medical records, and document clinical findings to support the VA disability-benefits determination process. Examiners do not determine disability ratings or compensation. Responsibilities Review Veterans' medical records, service treatment records, and relevant claim history Conduct comprehensive audiological evaluations related to hearing loss, tinnitus, and other claimed auditory conditions Perform required diagnostic testing in accordance with established examination protocols Obtain relevant medical and occupational histories from Veterans Complete Disability Benefits Questionnaires and provide medical opinions when requested Document findings accurately using an electronic platform Submit completed examination reports within established turnaround times Provide every Veteran with professional, compassionate, and respectful service Maintain patient privacy and comply with all applicable clinical and documentation standards Required Qualifications Must reside or practice within 50 miles of Bemidji, MN Doctor of Audiology degree or qualifying doctoral degree in Audiology Active, unrestricted Audiologist license Strong knowledge of audiological assessment and diagnostic procedures Experience using electronic medical records or similar documentation systems Strong computer, communication, and time-management skills Ability to complete accurate and thorough reports promptly Availability to work two days per week Preferred Qualifications Previous C&P or disability-examination experience Experience working with Veterans or the Department of Veterans Affairs Familiarity with Disability Benefits Questionnaires Clinical experience assessing hearing loss and tinnitus Why Providers Enjoy This Opportunity Competitive compensation of $600-$650 per day Consistent per-diem schedule of two days per week Evaluation-only practice No treatment plans or ongoing patient care No hearing-aid sales or dispensing No insurance billing Predictable scheduling Dedicated administrative and credentialing support Meaningful opportunity to serve Veterans Frontera Search Partners is a boutique healthcare staffing firm committed to supporting providers throughout every stage of an assignment.
