The M Health Fairview Audiology Clinic is looking for a self-motivated student with solid Audiology clinic experience to join our team for a full-time clinical Externship at our adult clinic starting spring of 2027. The chosen candidate will work under direct supervision of our team of 9 Audiologists to help with diagnosis and treatment of hearing and balance related disorders. The individual will gain experience in adult hearing assessment, electrophysiology and vestibular testing as well as fitting and follow-up with hearing aids, osseointegrated and cochlear implants. A rotation at our Pediatric clinic will also be included. Yes Externship site expects the extern to have mastered these skills before they begin their clinical externship: Candidates should have completed and passed all necessary coursework related to the Audiology doctorate and have had a variety of experience in various clinical settings. Candidates will provide letters of recommendation that will help outline their clinical and educational strengths. A copy of student transcript (unofficial) will be provided indicating the student's achievements in coursework. Externship site expects the extern to learn/demonstrate these skills during their clinical externship: Chosen candidate will expect to have exposure to all aspects of Audiology including assessment, counseling and rehabilitation. Externs will have the opportunity to work within a multidisciplinary team which includes ENT, Neurotology, Physical Therapy, and Speech Pathology. The goal will be to build confidence and independence to ensure a successful professional career in Audiology.
