This contract audiologist role is tailored for dedicated professionals seeking consistent, meaningful work during the 26-27 school year. With a manageable commitment of 7.5 hours per week, youll have the advantage of a focused schedule while directly supporting students needs on site.
Key Qualifications:
Active license or certification as an Audiologist Experience working in educational or pediatric settings is highly valued Strong knowledge of hearing assessments, auditory processing evaluations, and intervention strategies for children Excellent communication skills to collaborate with educators, parents, and other support staff Organizational ability to manage documentation and maintain detailed records
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive hearing assessments for students onsite Consult and collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families regarding students' auditory needs Design and implement individualized management plans for students with hearing impairment Guide the selection and use of assistive listening devices or hearing aids, as appropriate Maintain clear and accurate records in compliance with school and state regulations Deliver ongoing support and education to staff and students to promote auditory health and accessibility This position is designed for those eager to support student success while maintaining flexibility in their schedule.
