Our well-established and growing practice includes four otolaryngologists, including a fellowship-trained otologist, and four full-time audiologists , providing an exceptional, well-rounded externship experience in a collaborative medical setting. The practice serves pediatric and adult populations. The practices is part of the regional craniofacial team. Externs gain extensive hands-on experience across the full scope of diagnostic and rehabilitative audiology, including: Comprehensive audiometric and immittance evaluations Vestibular and other specialized diagnostic testing ABR and ECoG testing Hearing aid evaluations, fittings, programming, and follow-up care Bone-anchored hearing device evaluations and management Cochlear implant exposure through our otology service Externs are encouraged to develop increasing clinical independence throughout the year and, as competency is demonstrated, participate in hearing aid fittings and follow-up appointments with appropriate supervision. The supervising audiologists remain responsible for patient care while fostering progressive autonomy and confidence. The ideal candidate is a team player with a strong desire to learn, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to perform diagnostic testing, patient counseling, and clinical decision-making with minimal supervision.
