Mondays through Fridays, Full Time and Part Time Opportunities Available. About WIHD's Speech & Hearing Center The Speech & Hearing Center is one of the region's premier audiology resources, serving Westchester County and the Lower Hudson Valley. Through our partnerships with Westchester Medical Center, the CI Balancing Center, and APS, we provide comprehensive hearing healthcare services to a diverse and growing patient population. WIHD serves more than 10,000 individuals annually and is recognized for its commitment to helping children and adults maximize their communication, independence, and quality of life. The ideal candidate will possess experience providing the audiology services across the age range. Preference will be given to individuals who have a desire to work with children and/or those with neurodevelopmental disabilities. Some supervision of graduate students may be necessary.

Audiologist Qualifications:

Master s or Doctoral degree in Audiology from an accredited institution. NY State licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure as an Audiologist. Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) or equivalent certification. Strong knowledge of audiological diagnostic procedures, assessment techniques, and treatment options. Proficient in using sophisticated audiological equipment and specialized software for testing and analysis. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain complex audiological concepts to patients of all ages. Empathetic and patient-focused approach to address the emotional and psychological aspects of hearing loss. Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational and time management skills.
